21st Annual Braunvieh Herd Builder Sale. Kent and Kathy Abele will be hosting us at the 3 Cedars Event Center a few miles east of Nevada, Mo. This is easily accessible, located 90 miles south of Kansas City, just off I-49.

This is also the home of the Green Springs Bull Test, so plan some time to tour that facility and look at the Braunvieh bulls there.

COMMENTS: 

 I may be making a mistake letting this cow go, but John says I have to make cuts in every herd. She’s raised 5 bull calves that have gone on to make herdsires for other Braunvieh breeders and some to commercial herds. They have all tested well on gro safe systems. Her 2020 bull calf was junior calf champion at the gain test at Rio Beef Feeders in Raymondville Tx. •
